Extal source's it's aluminum billet from two sources – Primary billet from various countries around the world including Australia, New Zealand, Russia and Canada. Secondary billet produced in house using technological scrap from production and primary aluminum ingots. All of Extal's billets meet the highest quality standards in the world.

Suitable for applications such as general structures, road vehicles, railway cars and ships, as well as pipelines for air, water and oil. Has better extrudability and slightly higher mechanical properties than 6061 and offers good fatigue and impact properties. Extrudability is less than that of 6005A.
